December 31, 2022 Refresher Training Deadline

Medical Examiners who were certified before 2018 must complete the required periodic 5-year refresher training before December 31, 2022. Failure to do so may invalidate any CDL examination performed in 2023. Medical Examiners that do not complete the periodic training by 5 years from their certification date will be removed from the National Registry for noncompliance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.

To access the refresher training material, medical examiners will log into their DOT account, and they can download the material from the following link: Refresher Modules

If you have questions about the periodic refresher training, please contact the National Registry Helpdesk at FMCtechsup@dot.gov or (617) 494-3003.

For questions regarding our accredited NRCME training program or the NRCME certification process, call us at (941) 600-8411 9am-9pm EST 7/365.
